Introduction
This knowledge article provides detailed instructions on how to create and manage both merchant-level and account-level users under your Organization ID. These steps enable you to effectively manage multiple Transacting Merchant Identifiers (MIDs) and perform required tasks within the Business Center.
Overview
When your Organization ID is established, two account types are created:
- Merchant-level account
- Account-level account, which supports multiple Transacting Merchant Identifiers (MIDs)
Users can be created for each account type by completing the registration steps outlined below.
Following the Procedure: Creating Users Under Your Organization ID
Registering Your New Accounts
Refer to the registration email sent from donotreply@support.cybersource.com. Select the hyperlink that corresponds to the account type you want to register:
Merchant-Level User: Select the first hyperlink.
Account-Level User: Select the second hyperlink.
Entering Organization ID
When prompted, enter your Organization ID exactly as shown in the registration email.
For account-level users, ensure the Organization ID ends with “_acct”. Provide your preferred email address and select Submit.
Providing User Information
Complete all required user information fields and select Next Step.
Creating Password
Set your password and select Create User. A confirmation message will display once the user is successfully created.
Logging In
Select Go to login screen and enter your credentials.
Complete the secondary verification step using the one-time passcode (OTP). You can now access the Business Center.
Managing Administrative Access and Merchant Management
Administrators can also access merchant details from the Portfolio Management > Manage Merchants section. From this view, you can:
- Select a specific Merchant Identifier (MID)
- Open the Merchant Details page
- Resend a registration email directly from the merchant details page
This functionality is available when accessing the account-level view or the portfolio associated with the account.
