Introduction
Advanced Search allows you to locate transactions in the Business Center by applying one or more filters to specific fields.
Similar Search is a separate feature available on the transaction detail view, located on the right-hand side panel next to Risk Services/Decision Manager. It allows you to find transactions that share similar attributes to a selected transaction.
This change does not impact the standard Advanced Search function. Advanced Search continues to operate as normal.
To locate transactions older than 13 months, use Reporting in the Business Center, which supports searches for up to 18 months of transaction history. For additional information, refer to Reporting - Generating and Utilizing Reports in the Business Center.
Overview
Use Advanced Search to find transactions by selecting a date range and adding one or more filters to narrow your results.
Procedure
- Sign in to the Business Center.
- From the navigation panel, select Transaction Management > Transactions.
- Select a Date Range for the search.
- Select Add a filter.
- Select the appropriate category or field.
- Enter the value you want to search for in the selected field.
- Select Search.
- Repeat the previous steps to add additional filters as needed.
You can add as many filters as needed to narrow your search results.
Example
To search for a Visa credit card transaction from last month for a customer with the last name Smith:
- Set Date Range to Last Month.
- Select Add a filter > Payment Category > Credit Card > Visa.
- Select Add a filter > Last Name > Smith.
- Select Search.
Additional Resources
After completing your search, you can Save your search criteria for future use and Export your search results.
