Introduction
This article explains how to export transaction search results from the Business Center. After performing a transaction search, you can download the results in either Comma-Separated Values (CSV) or JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) format for further review or record-keeping. If your search returns more than 2,000 results, you will need to create a report instead of using the export function. Once exported, results can be filtered further using Microsoft Excel.
Requirements
The following permissions must be enabled on your account before you can export search results:
- Transaction View
- Transaction Results Export
If either permission is missing, contact the administrator for the merchant ID (organization ID) you use when signing in to the Business Center.
Exporting Search Results
- Perform a transaction search.
- Select Export.
- Choose an output format: CSV or JSON.
If the search returns more than 2,000 results, you will need to create a report.
Filtering Exported Results in Excel
You can filter your exported results further from within Excel.
- Open the exported file in Excel.
- Select the first row (the entire row is highlighted).
- Select Filter from the Data tab.
You can now filter your transaction history from any of the column headings.
