Introduction
When attempting a transaction using the managed NetSuite plug-in, you may encounter the error message: "This payment method is not configured." This article explains the cause of this error and outlines the steps to review and update your Payment Method Mapping settings.
Procedure
- Navigate to Payment Method Mapping:
Go to Cybersource Integration > SuiteApp Configuration > SuiteApp Configuration, then Configuration > SuiteApp > Step 2: Payment Method Mapping > View Payment Method Mappings. - Identify the affected Payment Method:
Locate the Payment Method used when you received the error. - Review and update the Payment Name:
Ensure the Payment Name field is correctly configured. Use the table below to verify the correct mapping:Payment Method Payment Name Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.) Credit Card Payment Token Credit Card Secure Acceptance Echeck Secure Acceptance Echeck Secure Acceptance Credit Card Secure Acceptance Credit Card Apple Pay Apple Pay Visa Checkout Visa Checkout Google Pay Google Pay PayPal PayPal - Edit as needed:
Click Edit next to any Payment Method Mappings you need to update. Adjust the Payment Name according to the table above. - Save your changes:
Select Save to apply the updated mapping.
