Requirements

Verify that your account is configured for Payer Authentication (3D Secure)

 

Instructions

1. Sign In to the Business Center
2. Select Payment Configuration > Payer Authentication Configuration

3. From the upper right, select ADD NEW CREDENTIALS
4. Enter your 3D Secure (3DS) Credentials
5. Select Save
6. Select Payment Configuration > Secure Acceptance Settings 

7. Select the Secure Acceptance profile that you want to use 3DS 2.0 with
8. Select the PAYMENT SETTINGS tab
9. From the upper right, select Edit Profile
10. From Payer Authentication 3DS Version, select 3DS 2
11. Select Save
12. From the upper right, select Promote to Active
13. Select Confirm

Additional information

• If you choose 3D Secure 2.0 and the card issuer is not 3D Secure 2.0 ready, some transactions may authenticate over 3D Secure 1.0.
• The reply field payer_authentication_specification_version indicates the version of 3D Secure used for a transaction.
