Problem Description

While reviewing Transaction Search Details, you observe that Credit Card Authorization, under the Application, field appears in red text.

Cause

When a value displayed under the Application field appears in red, it indicates that there was an issue with your attempt to run that application. For example, when "Credit Card Authorization" appears in red, it means that the credit card authorization failed or was flagged. For example, CyberSource by default will flag transactions that have an Address Verification Service (AVS) reply of "N" (no match).

Resolution

To find out why your attempt to run an application failed, please review the "Reply Message" field in the Transaction Search Details page of the transaction.
