Introduction
Use Transaction Management in the Enterprise Business Center (EBC) to search and review transactions across your account and managed merchants. This guide explains the search types available, how to apply filters, ways to locate related activity, and how to export results.

- Filter results by date range, status, payment type, and predefined phases.
- Open a transaction’s details to review fields and take eligible follow-on actions.
- Export transaction lists for analysis or reconciliation.
Supported transaction types and phases

Status badges in results indicate application status at entry to Cybersource:

| Reject | Rejected by fraud management tool. |

Color coding in the Transaction List helps scan results quickly:
- Green: Successfully processed
- Red: Error occurred
- Grey: Not processed (for example, authorization unsuccessful, settlement not run)
Procedures
Search for transactions
Use the Transactions page for flexible searching across up to 13 months of data (default view shows the past 7 days). When using Custom date in certain searches, a selectable window of up to 31 days is available within the 13-month period. Note: 13‑month search retention is not available for India merchants.
- In the left navigation, select Transaction Management > Transactions.
- Adjust the Date Range as needed. A date or date range is always required.
- Choose one or more search options:
- Quick Search: Enter text (minimum 3 characters) that appears in common fields.
- Add Filter: Add filters to narrow results; combine multiple filters to create an AND search.
- Select Search to return results in the Transactions table.
Tips:
- Filters with a Refresh icon are required; modify them as needed but they cannot be removed.
- Select Clear to remove optional filters and return to default search.
- Select Cancel Search or press Esc to end an in‑progress search.
Quick Search fields
Without applying a specific filter, Quick Search scans the following fields:
- Transaction Reference Number
- Request ID
- Merchant Reference Number
- Payment Category and Processor
- Account Prefix/Suffix
- Customer ID
- Device ID
- PA Transaction ID
- Token ID
- First Name
- Last Name
Using filters
- Select Add Filter to insert a new filter; if the option is unavailable, you have reached the maximum number.
- Custom date ranges are valid up to 180 days when specified.
- Example AND search (Visa credit card via Virtual Terminal, last month):
- Date Range: Last month
- Add Filter: Payment Category > Credit Card > Visa
- Add Filter: Connection Method > Virtual Terminal
Focused searches (by phase and payment experience)
Use predefined searches from the left navigation under Transaction Management to quickly locate targeted sets of transactions.

Notes for phase searches:
- Custom date provides access to 13 months of data with a selectable window of up to 31 days.
- Each search returns up to 2,000 transactions.
Search for similar transactions
From a transaction’s Details page, find other transactions with exact matches on selected attributes.
- All
- Name
- Account Number
- Billing Phone
- Shipping Phone
- Shipping Address
- IP Address
- Device Fingerprint
On the Similar Search page, use Settings to choose attributes to include and whether to include normalized email addresses (ignores “.” and “+” variants).
Search for Payer Authentication transactions (XID)
Locate a Payer Authentication transaction using its unique transaction identifier (XID) generated during enrollment checks.
- Open Transaction Management > Transactions.
- Select Add Filter, type XID, choose XID, then enter the identifier.
- Select Search and open the Request ID to view details.
Tip: To find multiple authentication events in a period, leave XID blank and apply a Date Range.
Payer Authentication: key fields in Details
When reviewing authentication details on a transaction, these fields help confirm and correlate results:

| AAV/CAVV | Value generated by the issuer when authentication succeeds or is attempted. |
| Transaction Status | Y (success), A (attempts), U (unavailable), N (failed/canceled). |
| Electronic Commerce Indicator (ECI) | Authentication result indicator used by processors. |
| Request ID | Unique identifier you can use to retrieve and correlate transactions. |
Search for Secure Acceptance transactions
Find transactions processed through Secure Acceptance checkout. Available filters include Account Suffix, Last Name, Merchant Reference Number, Transaction UUID, Request ID, and UUID/Merchant ID (for reseller users).
- Open Transaction Management > Secure Acceptance Search.
- Select a date range and choose Apply.
- (Optional) Select Add Filter, enter a value, then select Search.
After locating a transaction, select its Request ID to open Details, or use the View icon to open the Secure Acceptance Transaction Details panel.
Work with search results
- Select a Request ID to open the Transaction Details page.
- Use column filter boxes under each heading to refine results.
- Sort by date by selecting the Date column.
- Select Reset Search to clear filters and start over.
Export transaction results
Export the current Transactions list (including applied filters and visible columns) to CSV or JSON. For exports over 2,500 records, use Reporting.
- On the Transactions page, select the Export icon and choose CSV or JSON.
- Follow your browser prompts to open or save the file.
